A nation is not a nation with open borders - we will suffer the horrific chaotic consequences of the Biden open border policy. It's disgusting insanity!

Texas Dept. of Public Safety: The Terrorist Threat Is Already on U.S. Soil

What would you say about a man who left his home’s back door open all night while going off to be a community watchman in other neighborhoods, but then nonetheless claimed he was being vigilant about his family’s safety?

Perhaps it’s the same thing you’d say about National Security Council spokesman John Kirby. After all, despite his Biden administration having allowed millions of unknown-quantity illegal aliens to cross our border and escape into our country’s interior, the White House official insisted, when asked about the threat this poses, “that we have remained vigilant.”

Kirby had also claimed that he “couldn’t” answer a question about whether it’s “possible” that a terrorist crossed our southern border during these dangerous times. But another government official will answer that question — and did just recently.

Appearing on The Ingraham Angle Friday, Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Lt. Christopher Olivarez warned that our border situation is essentially a ticking time bomb. In fact, the discovery of the ingredients for a bomb is, quite literally, what host Laura Ingraham asked the official about.

“We are finding explosives that are being left on the U.S. side [of the border] in Texas,” replied Olivarez, while referencing a picture of the discovery. He then continued:

But also, the video you saw [shown during the show segment], that is an actual gun battle taking place right across the river, which is Fronton Island, which is an island we’ve been able to occupy because of the General Land Office … [which] gave us authority to take control of this 170-acre island. Now, because of that, we are able to capture all these events that are taking place within … several hundred yards from the island…in Mexico, which is the most violent area along the Texas-Mexico border.

So now that we’re there operating 24/7, we are capturing these gun battles and now hearing explosives that are being detonated right across the river…. And we know for many years, the cartels have been operating in that specific area because they are fighting for lucrative … drug smuggling routes.

It should be added that “Mexican drug cartels are already deeply entrenched within the United States,” to quote a March confession by the very liberal Los Angeles Times. “Americans are operating on behalf of various cartels in myriad ways, from retail-level drug distribution to more complex logistical operation,” the paper continued.

Of course, a porous southern border, allowing massive numbers of unknown people and weapons into our country, guarantees that Mexico’s problems will increasingly reach our soil. What’s more, Mexico is a conduit for even more ominous threats, too.

This brings us back to John Kirby. Ingraham played a recent clip of him being asked at a press conference, “Is it possible that somebody who wants to commit a terrorist attack during a time of elevated threat crossed the southern border into the united states already?”

“I couldn’t possibly answer that question,” the White House official responded. “All I can do is tell you that we have remained vigilant.”

Now, perhaps Kirby was being honest, in a way: He certainly couldn’t answer that question without jeopardizing his position.

So instead, he’ll be party to jeopardizing our country. Olivarez made this point with Ingraham, saying that we “know for a fact there has been elevated threat for the past three years because of an unsecured border” (video below). Note, too, that this actually means the threat is elevated above an already unacceptable level, as our border has been porous for decades, with only Donald Trump’s administration making some headway against the problem.

So what, exactly, is coming across our border along with the millions of “unknown quantities”? Weapons and explosives have, but what about nuclear material and/or other ingredients for weapons of mass destruction? We don’t know.

We can know, however, what probability dictates. Ingraham later related to Olivarez the revelation that a Venezuelan murderer failed to mention his homicide conviction to Customs and Border Patrol in July (what a surprise!) and was then released into our country. He’s just one of many, too.

For if 17 million illegals (perhaps a low-end estimate) are in the U.S., and just one-half of one percent are criminally inclined, it amounts to 85,000 additional criminals. If 1/100th of one percent are or will become terroristic, that means having 1,700 terrorists in our midst. If “only” 1/1000th of one percent do, that’s still 170.

(By the way, this threat isn’t just theoretical. A southern-border-jumping illegal was sent to prison in 2019 after committing a terrorist act in Canada.)

Note that two terrorists were sufficient to perpetrate the 2015 San Bernardino terrorist attack, one was enough to murder 50 in the Orlando nightclub shooting in 2016 — and 9/11 involved only 19.

The other tragedy is that when and if illegal-alien terrorists do again commit a nation-jarring act — which seems only a matter of time — the response won’t likely be to dispense with political correctness, secure the border, and hold the officials who facilitated the invasion responsible. Rather, the de facto-traitor demagogues will use deception and distraction to cover themselves, aided and abetted by a complicit mainstream media; then, instead of commonsense policy, they may deliver a Patriot Act 2.0 (the version we already have was “justified” using 9/11 as pretext).

Of course, we don’t need a Patriot Act, but the patriotic act of protecting our country and behaving as if it actually is a country — and not a doormat for the world’s dirtiest feet.
