ICE protests and riots: Rallying to aid and abet evil
What is becoming of this country?

Riots are taking place across the country in support of a person who was an inveterate obstructor of law enforcement and a Trump hater.
Just as massive and violent riots took place after George Floyd, a career criminal, druggie, ne’er-do-well, and thug died in police custody several years ago after attempting to use a counterfeit bill to purchase a pack of cigarettes.
Yet there were no massive protests after 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee, was murdered by a career offender while riding in a light rail car in Charlotte, North Carolina. The assailant, Decarlos Brown, had previously been arrested — and released — 14 times.
Zarutska, who “loved America” according to her family, worked at a pizza restaurant and a senior center, and took care of animals in the neighborhood.
Maybe if she wasn’t white, and had an extensive criminal record, many would have protested her death. In fact, I’m certain they would have. It’s too bad America didn’t love her back.
But this has become a pattern in the U.S.
Law enforcement is reviled and attacked, while criminals are given “sanctuary,” and are released with little or no time served if they are ever apprehended. And then, if they accost and threaten law enforcement officers and are subsequently killed, they are treated as beloved martyrs, heroic symbols of “resistance” against the white patriarchy, capitalism, fascism, and xenophobia.
But it gets worse than that.
Competence, personal discipline, success, manners, hygiene, intelligence, logic, the traditional family and traditional mores -- and what used to be considered simple human decency are all mocked, libeled, and slandered as tools of “white supremacy.” Mostly by white people, especially the truly awful “AWFULs.”
Enter pop star Zara Larsson, a Swedish national, who recently used social media, in the form of an Instagram post, to state: “I love immigrants. I love criminals. I love trans people. I love abortions. I love queers. I love slutty women. I love contraception. I love welfare. I love socialism. I f****** hate ICE”
Larsson is a multi-platinum recording artist who boasts nearly 10 million Instagram followers. And she loves everything that destroys individual lives in specific and society in general. There isn’t a better definition of evil than that.
So this sickness afflicts the West in general, though that doesn't make it any easier to watch what has been happening to the (formerly) United States.
So it happens that if a mountain lion attacks a human, more “GoFundMe” money is pledged to the mountain lion than the human, a Christian priest is punished for reciting Bible passages while Muslim call to prayers ring out five times a day in several of our major cities, abortion is called “women’s health care,” people are arrested for silently praying outside of “women’s health care” centers, and Somali Learing Centers dot the landscape. You can’t misgender kids, but you must be in favor of mutilating or removing their genitalia.
All prior knowledge, wisdom, lived experience, and traditions are wrong. Sloth, crime, entitlement, bitterness, anti-racism racism, lies, and big government are good, everything that has heretofore been considered good is bad. This is, in effect, what so many people across the West are saying and why they are rioting. Choosing crime and chaos over decency-- and overtly choosing evil over good is sick. It is tragic. And it is an immediate and existential danger to our republic and others.
Forget NATO. The fate of Western nations — and indeed the world -- hinges on this battle between good and evil. A battle that is currently being fought almost entirely by one side.
Pray for our deliverance, as only the Lord GOD can save us if we refuse to save ourselves.
