A Perfect Example of Devastating Consequences of the Illegal Alien Invasion

Illegal Immigrant Suspected of Killing Texas Cop Found Hiding in Mexico

1/28/2022 - Julio Rosas Townhall.com

The illegal immigrant accused of killing Harris County Constable Charles Galloway with a rifle on Sunday was arrested by Mexican police and U.S. Marshals after he was found hiding in the border town of Ciudad Acuña.

The New York Post reported that Oscar Rosales, 51, has been a fugitive in Texas for 25 years and is wanted for murder in El Salvador. Mexican police handed Rosales over to the United States after being caught. Rosales has been charged with capital murder for allegedly shooting Galloway through the windshield of his squad car during a Houston traffic stop early Sunday morning.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed to Fox News Rosales is not a U.S. citizen and was in the country illegally.

Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg declined to comment on Rosales immigration status but said the Honduran, Guatemalan, and El Salvadorian governments had been notified of his capture.

“He was arrested for aggravated assault with a knife back in 1995,” she said. Rosales pled guilty and was given probation, which Ogg said he promptly jumped.

“He absconded and literally evaded detection and capture by law enforcement on that open warrant for 25 years,” she said.

U. S. Government a Massive Human Trafficking Organization Assisting Mexican Cartels

Texas Lieutenant Governor Slams Biden for Helping Cartels with Human Smuggling

1/27/2022 - Katie Pavlich Townhall.com

This week the Biden administration was caught red-handed releasing hundreds of single adult and male illegal immigrants into the United States.

While the federal government is supposed to be deporting single male adults back to Mexico under Title 42, administration officials are breaking the law by facilitating bus tickets and plane rides for illegal immigrants to cities across the country.

Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is reminding Americans the Biden administration is essentially finishing the job for criminal cartel enterprises and smuggling rings.

As I wrote in a column last year, this was true with the unaccompanied minor crisis and it is true now with single adult males.

With President Joe Biden's current policy not to send unaccompanied minors back to their home countries, his administration is finalizing thousands of criminal transactions and completing human trafficking missions for billon dollar smuggling operations south of the border. Further, the administration is giving credibility to illegal immigration by knowingly placing minors with family members or sponsors who are also in the U.S. unlawfully.

Thousands of unaccompanied minors aren’t making their way from Central America to the United States alone. They are being trafficked by cartel operations, who demand heavy payments and loyalty for the trek.

An Outstanding Summary of Global Conflict!

Why Putin Has Not Been Deterred

1/27/2022 - Victor Davis Hanson Townhall.com

Americans want an autonomous Ukraine to survive. They hope the West can stop Russian President Vladimir Putin's strangulation of both Ukraine and NATO.

Yet Americans do not want their troops to venture across the world to Europe's backyard to fight nuclear Russia to ensure that Ukraine stays independent.

Most Americans oppose the notion that Russia can simply dictate the future of Ukraine.

Yet Americans also grudgingly accept that Ukraine was often historically part of Russia. During World War II, it was the bloody scene of joint Russian-Ukrainian sacrifices - over 5 million killed - to defeat the Nazi German invasion.

Americans publicly support NATO.

Yet most Americas privately worry that NATO has become diplomatically impotent and a military mirage - a modern League of Nations.

NATO members have a collective GDP seven times larger than Russia's. Their aggregate population is 1 billion. Yet the majority will not spend enough on defense to deter their weaker enemies.

The second-largest NATO member, Turkey, is closer to Russia than to the United States. Its people poll anti-American.

Germany is NATO's richest European member and the power behind the European Union. Yet Germany will soon be dependent on imported Russian natural gas for much of its energy needs.

In a recent Pew Research Center poll, 70 percent of Germans voiced a desire for more cooperation with Russia. Most Americans poll the exact opposite.

Worse, 60 percent of Germans oppose going to the aid of any NATO country in time of war. Over 70 percent of Germans term their relationship with the United States as "bad."

We can translate all these disturbing results in the following manner: The German and Turkish people like or trust Russia more than they do their own NATO patron, America.

They would not support participating in any NATO joint military effort against even an invading Russia - even, or especially, if spearheaded by an unpopular United States.

So, assume that NATO's key two members are either indifferent to the fate of nearby Ukraine or sympathetic to Russia's professed grievances - or both.

Indeed, most Americans fear that if Ukraine ever became a NATO member, Putin might be even more eager to test its sovereignty.

Putin assumes that not all NATO members would intervene to help an attacked Ukraine, as required by their mutual defense obligations under Article 5.

If they did not, Putin could then both absorb Ukraine and unravel the NATO alliance all at once.

There are more complications in the Ukrainian mess.

President Joe Biden, in wacky statements, has confirmed Putin's bet that the United States is currently divided, confused, weakened, and poorly led.

Putin knows that the secretary of defense and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff appear more worried about "white privilege" and climate change than enhancing military readiness to deter enemies such as himself.

Putin sees polls that only 45 percent of Americans have confidence in their new politicized military.

The flight from Afghanistan, Putin further conjectures, has made the United States both less feared by enemies and less trusted by allies.

The prior failed American policy of Russian "reset," the appeasement of Putin's aggressions during the Obama years, together with the concocted hoax of "Russian collusion," have all variously emboldened - and angered - Putin.

He knows a twice-impeached Donald Trump left office unpopular. So, he assumes with Trump gone, American deterrence against Russia also vanished.

Trump's now rejected agenda was to increase American and NATO defenses, and pump oil and gas to crash the global price of Russia's chief source of foreign exchange.

Putin was once furious that Trump unilaterally left an asymmetrical U.S.-Russia missile accord. Trump ordered lethal force to be used against large numbers of Russian mercenaries who attacked a U.S. installation in Syria. He sold offensive weapons to Ukraine. He acted forcibly in taking out terrorist enemies such as Iran's General Qasem Soleimani, the Islamicist Abu al-Baghdadi, and ISIS itself.

With Putin's nemesis, Trump, gone, Russia assumes the appeasement years of the Obama-Biden Administration are back again. As in 2014, once more Putin is moving against his neighbors.

Finally, there is the unfortunate role of recent Ukrainian government officials. Some were deeply involved in greenlighting the Biden family grifting and profiteering to ensure massive American foreign aid.

Some Ukrainian expatriates and current government members worked with the American Left to ensure the first impeachment of Trump.

Now Ukrainians are exasperated that their prior intrusions into domestic American politics have backfired with the disastrous Biden presidency - and his apparent de facto acceptance of an inevitable Russian annexation.

Where does this entire mess leave America?

In trouble.

Putin is undermining a sovereign nation, fissuring NATO, and, if successful, might continue the Ukraine slow squeeze model in the Baltic states and elsewhere.

Meanwhile, China smiles, hoping the Ukraine blueprint can be used against Taiwan.

Exasperated Americans fear that Putin will be deterred neither by sanctions nor by arms sales but follows only his own sense of cost-to-benefit self-interest.

Biden Immigration Policy - A National Disaster Of Its Own Making!

EXCLUSIVE: DHS Secretary Had a Disastrous Meeting with Border Patrol Agents

1/26/2022 - Julio Rosas Townhall.com

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' meeting with Border Patrol agents in the Yuma Sector on Wednesday did not go well after he admitted the staggering amount of illegal border crossings has made the agents' job more difficult.

In an audio recording of his remarks to the agents, which was obtained by Townhall, Mayorkas conceded the massive influx of people illegally crossing into the sector, along with the rest of the southern sectors, has not been easy.

"The job has not gotten any easier over the last few months and it was very, very difficult throughout 2021. I know apprehending families and kids is not what you signed up to do. And now we got a composition that is changing even more with Cubans, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans, and the like, it just gets more difficult," Mayorkas said in the recording.

Mayorkas said DHS is trying to work with the Mexican government to stop the flow of immigrants before they reach the U.S. border.

"I know the policies of this administration are not particularly popular with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, but that's the reality and let's see what we can do within that framework," Mayorkas added.

An agent pressed Mayorkas on how DHS can reconcile saying border security is the main mission for Border Patrol, yet agents are unable to patrol the border due to the policies the Biden administration has in place. Border Patrol agents are being utilized to process the thousands of illegal immigrants.

Mayorkas said he appreciated "the candor" and explained he is working to ensure agents have the personnel, funding, and equipment they need to do their job. The agent replied they have been hearing that answer for years.

According to sources present at the meeting and the audio recording, the agent who asked the question then turned his back on Mayorkas.

"Let me just say, you can turn your back on me but I won't turn my back on you," Mayorkas said. The agent replied Mayorkas turned his back on the agents first.

Another agent told Mayorkas there are many issues in the Yuma Sector, pointing to the overcrowding of family units at their processing site and that handling them is not their responsibility. Mayorkas reiterated that agents being pulled off of the border to process illegal immigrants is not what they signed up to do.

The second agent said it has been "demoralizing" to see politicians and others "demonize" Border Patrol when they often save illegal immigrants from injury and death. It is a possible reference to the outrage that started over false claims that agents on horseback were "whipping" people illegally crossing the border in the Del Rio Sector, which included Mayorkas, Vice President Kamala Harris, President Joe Biden.

Mayorkas said he understands being demonized because he has had threats against his life and the life of his family.

Another agent asked Mayorkas about the low number of people being enrolled in the Migrant Protection Protocols, also known as "Remain in Mexico," a policy the Biden administration was forced to re-up by court order after President Biden attempted to shut down the program.

"The numbers are not where they need to be. I agree with that," Mayorkas admitted, adding the U.S. is still negotiating with Mexico.

Mayorkas revealed he has approved for gaps in the border wall system, which were created when Biden ordered a halt on construction, to be filled, particularly where gates were supposed to be installed.

"Look, it's worse now than it, frankly, has been in at least 20 years, if not ever," Mayorkas said at another point in the meeting, regarding the overall situation at the border.

One exasperated agent told Mayorkas the situation in the Yuma Sector was much better under former President Donald Trump because "everyone was doing their jobs."

In the recording, Border Chief Patrol Raul Ortiz did not seem happy with the questions being asked because, according to him, it came off as griping instead of coming to Mayorkas with solutions.

Mayorkas can be then heard going back to the first agent who turned his back on him and asked how long he had been part of Border Patrol. When the agent replied with 16 years, Mayorkas said he was prosecuting death penalty cases in California, "You don't know anything about me."

The agent said he knows Mayorkas has had a long career, but "you said you're going to change it, the only that's changed is it's gotten worse."

Sources at the meeting told Townhall Mayorkas was visibly upset. DHS did not respond to a request for comment in time for publication.
