The horrific - chaotic southern border illegal alien invasion continues without a letup. The Biden administration immigration policy has 'totally transformed our Republic'.

Biden Has ‘Completely Abandoned’ Border Patrol, Texas Lawmaker Says After Crossings Reach Record High

Customs and Border Protection encountered more illegal aliens on America’s borders and at U.S. ports of entry in August than any other single month on record.

CBP released the latest numbers Friday, reporting 304,162 illegal aliens encountered in the month of August, surpassing the previous record high in December 2022 by nearly 2,000.

“The crisis at our southern border is only becoming more dire by the day—evidenced by the record-breaking number of illegal border crossings,” Rep. August Pfluger, R-Texas, told The Daily Signal.

“President [Joe] Biden and his administration have completely abandoned our Border Patrol agents and the security of the American people,” Pfluger said. “I’m fighting for the most comprehensive border security package ever passed by Congress to close the border and support to our officers in green.”

In May, House Republicans passed a border security bill known as HR 2, and now some Republicans say they will not support any spending bill that gives money to the Department of Homeland Security without action being taken to secure the border.

A White House spokesperson defended the Biden administration’s handling of the border, telling The Daily Signal in an email Monday that “President Biden has called on Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform since his first day in office, and House Republicans continue to block it. Now, House Republicans who claim to care about border security are threatening it by proposing a continuing resolution that would eliminate 800 CBP agents and officers, and by marching toward a shutdown that would halt pay to tens of thousands of DHS law enforcement personnel.”

With CBP’s September encounter numbers still unknown, fiscal year 2023 has already surpassed previous years with the most illegal alien encounters in one year on record.

Republicans and Democrats alike continue to speak out against the policies of the Biden administration that many say have led to the surge of encounters on America’s borders, particularly the southern border.

“Never in the history of our country has the president done more to intentionally harm the country than what [Biden] has done at our border, Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., told The Daily Signal. “The Biden border invasion is so bad, even Democrats in blue cities are feeling the effects and speaking out. Joe Biden should be impeached for his actions at the border alone.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Democrat running for president in 2024, told Jesse Watters on Fox News on Friday that he understands that “a lot of the Democrats promoted this policy at the beginning of the Biden administration out of a humanitarian impulse, but it’s been a catastrophic failure.”

The Biden administration’s policies have “caused a humanitarian crisis at the border,” Kennedy said, adding that “our border policies are now being administered by the Mexican drug cartels.”

During a “Daily Signal Podcast” interview in February, former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott said the drug cartels play a role in every illegal crossing into the U.S. at the southern border.

Migrants are “either directly paying the cartels, or the cartels are controlling their movements for another benefit, meaning to systematically overwhelm Border Patrol, create a gap in the border security, and then bring the narcotics across,” Scott said.

The current surge of illegal aliens has overwhelmed the border town of Eagle Pass, Texas—a city of about 30,000 about 140 miles southwest of San Antonio—where the Democratic mayor has declared a state of emergency.

During an interview with CNN last week, Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas said the president “bears some responsibility for this crisis.” The mayor added that he has not “heard from anybody in the administration.”

“We’re here abandoned,” Salinas said. “We’re on the border. We’re asking for help. This is unacceptable.”

Over the weekend, Fox News’ Griff Jenkins reported that more than 4,000 illegal aliens crossed the border into Eagle Pass between Friday and Sunday. And according to his CBP sources, Jenkins said Monday that there “were approximately 11,000 migrant encounters at the [southwest] border in the last 24 hours, marking the ‘single highest day in recent memory.’”

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, responded to the news, posting on X, “We are now breaking records in a matter of 24 hours. We don’t have a border if we don’t secure it from illegal entries.”

Biden adminstration border policy is total chaos = 'the total transformation of the United States of America' - Obama on October 30, 2008.

Trump shut the border and got a migrant deal with Mexico. Biden also shut the border and got ... more illegals

By Monica Showalter www.americanthinker.com

Say what you want about President Trump, the business-magnate-turned-president always did understand the art of the deal.

So when a migrant surge in 2019 migrant inundated U.S. borders from the south, Trump showed Mexico he meant business by shutting the U.S.-Mexico border as leverage in order to cut a deal with them to stop the migrants.

How the critics howled.

Here's the local public radio station, KPBS, report dated April 4, 2019:

President Trump's threats to close the border have slowed cross-border commerce at the country's busiest port of entry, despite his comments Thursday indicating he intended to give Mexico a year to stop the flow of migrants to the U.S.

Local business leaders fear the effect could be long-term.

"It's actually worse to have this threat renewed for a year versus resolving it now," said Paola Avila, vice president of international business affairs for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. "I consider it very detrimental."

Avila said businesses usually plan out investments years ahead of time, and that she foresees his comments having a chilling effect.

More than 100,000 people cross the San Diego-Tijuana border every day to go to school or work, to see a doctor or to go shopping. And many industries in San Diego depend on trade with Mexico. If Trump closes the border, people's lives — and the regional economy — would be interrupted. Some businesses are already seeing an impact from the mere threat of a border closure.

"Just the threats alone, that in itself is creating a problem," said Frank Carrillo, president of SIMNSA, a health care provider that offers medical and dental services in Tijuana for U.S. citizens from San Diego, Los Angeles and other areas. "People don't want to make the trip."

The pain was real, but it didn't last long -- Trump got the Mexicans' attention and within days, a deal was cut with Mexico to halt the migrant caravans and permit "asylum seekers" from third countries to wait out their asylum claims in Mexico.

Supply chains are important things and the Mexicans are no fools. Acting in their best interests, they decided to prioritize trade over tweaking Uncle Sam by dispatching tens of thousands of migrants from multiple countries into the U.S. illegally.

In the end, both sides went away happy and illegal immigration shrank precipitously. The border traffic came back, stronger than ever. That little shutdown done for leverage was the art of the deal.

Which now brings us to Joe Biden, who also shut the border down ... by opening the border to all comers.

According to NBC San Diego:

In San Diego and Texas border cities this week, officials closed border crossings so agents could help with an influx of migrants.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/ssl-intgr-net/tags/7_74_19.gifAfter a dip in illegal crossings that followed new asylum restrictions in May, President Joe Biden's administration is again on its heels. Democratic mayors and governors are seeking more relief for hosting asylum-seekers and Republicans are seizing on the issue ahead of 2024 elections.

In San Diego, a pedestrian crossing has been closed since Sept. 14 to direct staff to an area where migrants from Cameroon to Colombia were waiting between a double-layer border wall in San Diego. Volunteers are handing the migrants food and bottled water while they wait to be processed.

Near Jacumba Hot Springs, a town of less than 1,000 people with a small hotel and general store within boulder-strewn mountains an hour's drive east of San Diego, migrants camps began forming last week for the first time since May.

So to be clear -- Trump shut down the border to reduce illegal migrants flowing into the U.S.

Biden also shut down the border in a reactive response to illegal migrants crossing into the U.S. illegally.

In both instances, the door to trade was halted.

But only Trump got a deal to stop it.

Biden's border shutdowns which are the result of depleted Border Patrol manpower have put cross-border trade second, and what's worse, the shutdown comes with no deal whatsoever, only the open-ended prospect of more migrants and more border shutdowns as agents are diverted to the care and feeding of illegals.

A business group sounded the alarm about this, and rightly so:

EL PASO, Texas – The Border Trade Alliance wants Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to quickly open a dialogue with his counterpart in Mexico to address what it describes as a worsening situation at the US-Mexico border.

The BTA, a grassroots, non-profit organization, says a recent surge of migrants has resulted in closures of critical trade arteries.

“The BTA is deeply concerned that cross-border trade and commerce will be severely delayed unless both governments come together to restore order and security at the border,” BTA President Ms. Britton Mullen said. “Closures of international bridges and ports of entry result in tremendous economic harm to businesses on both sides of the border and degrade the quality of life throughout the region.”

Trump closed the border in order to get a deal to stop the migrants. Biden on the other hand, also closed the border -- because he wouldn't cut a deal. He chose lose-lose instead. And naturally, he didn't plan it, it just ... happened.

It's strange how symmetrical these border trade shutdowns really are. As long as migrants surge, trade doesn't surge, trade gets shut down, which ought to be a lesson for everyone.

But what isn't symmetrical is Trump's insistence on a win-win situation for both sides, and Biden's insistence on a lose-lose result.

If this isn't proof of Biden's idiocy, what is? Biden has opted to get all the pain of a border shutdown and none of the benefits, all to preserve the chaos of his open border. It's the hill he means to die on and may be the stupidity that will sweep him from office.

'Globalism is where optimism goes to die' - 'happiness is smothered with misery, fear and hate' - it must be erradicated!

Globalism Must Be Destroyed

By J.B. Shurk

Americans are pessimistic about the future.  They also view past decades more favorably than they do the present one.  The "land of opportunity" is gone.  The "American dream" is gone.  What remains is a fading memory of what America used to be without an underlying promise that its erstwhile preeminence can be restored.

This pessimism is not peculiar to those living inside the United States.  A growing body of research shows that national populations around the world are depressed about the future.  Billions of smartphones, exponentially multiplying digital entertainments, and social media platforms connecting millions each minute are evidently not creating sufficient conditions for human optimism or happiness.

Diagnosing why eight billion people are miserable is no easy task, but there is an obvious culprit that has surely contributed to our global malaise.  Globalism, as the increasingly dominant governing philosophy — if not pseudo-religion — of the planet, is inherently antagonistic to both individual self-determination and the natural bonds formed within families and tribes.  When every human is encouraged — if not mandated — to act strictly for the "common good" of the global population, then those preferences that advance an individual's, family's, or nation's unique interests must be undermined.

Powerful institutions as varied as the United Nations, World Economic Forum, BlackRock, and even the Vatican all demand an essentially borderless world, in which the peoples of any nation are encouraged to migrate freely into others.  Decades of mass migration, primarily in the West, have resulted in not only an explosion of ethnic enclaves existing somewhat autonomously inside host nation-states, but also the fracturing of common civic bonds that once loosely united those nations' native peoples.  When citizens or political parties have fought back against policies of uncontrolled immigration, globalist-minded authorities have been quick to demonize their own citizens as racists; xenophobes; or, more recently, purveyors of "hate."  Even more devastating for afflicted populations, assimilation is now scorned.  Rather than encouraging new residents to adopt the language, customs, and traditions of their adoptive land, governments have chosen to prioritize the cultural identities of recent transplants over the historic identities of the nation states they now call home.

Nationalism is derisively equated with the worst atrocities of last century's German Nazism or Italian fascism, while its Enlightenment Age achievements in organizing similar peoples into self-sustaining regions peaceful enough to encourage technological innovation, economic growth, and relative political stability are entirely ignored.  Westerners are browbeaten with globalism's sister philosophies of "multiculturalism" and "diversity for diversity's sake" to the point that even declaring oneself a proud Englishman, Dutchman, German, or — Heaven forefend! — Russian can quickly lead to the "offender" being branded a "racist" who must be "retrained" to reject "hate."  Is it any wonder, then, why the Olympic Games are waning in popularity, when Westerners are regularly conditioned to believe that love for one's nation must be expunged from the human race?

Even more fundamental than membership in national tribes that foster meaning and identity, it is the familial tribe that gives humans a natural support network for dealing with the dangers of the outside world.  Parents, siblings, and immediate relatives provide young family members with the skills and knowledge to navigate life's wilderness.  The bonds of kinship reinforce instinctual drives to protect and strengthen the group.  Families maintain organic divisions of labor and a shared sense of duty that instill innate purpose within each member.

Globalism and State supremacy, on the other hand, are diametrically opposed to the family.  By elevating a loyalty to the "common good" and the State's "expertise" over the private decision-making of families, the State has weakened the most natural engine for creating and sustaining a human being's identity and purpose.  Government agents now insert themselves between parents and their children in matters as personal as religious conviction, sexual morality, and psychological well-being.  Should parents reject any of the State's radical ideologies — such as "transgenderism" — their natural rights as parents are threatened.  Just as during China's Cultural Revolution, Western governments now dominate the family's private sphere.

It is this form of government superiority — intolerant of kinship traditions and hostile to personal agency — that actually birthed last century's totalitarian regimes.  What distinguishes our present era is that globalist authorities seek citizens' absolute obedience not only to their national governments but also to the pantheon of globalist gods to whom those governments claim to pray.  People are ordered to obey in the name of COVID, "climate change," "democracy," "fighting hate," or any other deity that the State produces for the public's supplication.  People who worship these false gods are rewarded with government-sanctioned atonement; those who refuse are punished as heretics.  No matter how faithfully the converts publicly devote themselves to the globalist theology, though, they truly serve only the small class of oligarchs who use their quasi-divine authority to amass greater wealth and power for themselves.

Good parents will sacrifice themselves for their children; they are not inclined to watch their children be butchered and brainwashed.  Warriors will sacrifice themselves when their communities come under attack; they are not inclined to die for pretentious pronouns and carbon emissions.  As relentless as the State's propaganda continues to be, no centered person sees the government as family or wants to fight a war for globalism.  The more the State insists that people act against their natures, the more people become aware that they must reject the authority of the State.  The prospect of imminent conflict breeds deep pessimism about the future.

In my experience, human suffering arises when people feel that they have no control over their own lives.  That suffering can often be stemmed when they seek some kind of relationship with God, take personal responsibility for their own actions, use their labor to create something of their own, and openly express their thoughts.  This journey toward happiness requires the individual to do the heavy lifting, but it also empowers the mind to create and think freely.  Humans who confidently accept their own agency inside a world not of their making eventually find peace.  How do you create happy societies?  Encourage citizens to embrace God, private property, and free speech.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/ssl-intgr-net/tags/7_209_19.gifGlobalism does just the opposite.  It requires total dependency on government.  When COVID struck, the State closed churches, bankrupted small businesses, and silenced dissent.  The cult of "climate change" insists that you own nothing, produce nothing, and pray to Mother Earth.  The State's preposterous "War on Disinformation and Hate" seeks to enslave the mind and criminalize thoughts.  And the individual is expected to make all these sacrifices for the glory of the "multicultural," "inclusive," "equitable," "green"-energy-obsessed, globalist State.  Unsurprisingly, most humans have no interest in praying at the church of the United Nations or obeying the World Health Organization's coercive mandates as if they were the Ten Commandments.

Globalism can succeed only in a terribly pessimistic world.  It thrives on racism.  It depends upon an apocalyptic vision of a dying planet.  It needs to divide people against one another, so that they are too busy to unite and resist those who cause them actual harm.  Under globalist government, happiness is smothered with misery, fear, and hate.

Even in humanity's darkest hours, optimism has prevailed.  After WWI, Americans fell in love with the automobile.  After WWII, Americans bought homes and televisions.  During the Vietnam War, Americans put a man on the moon.  Now globalists push public transportation and small apartments.  Televisions are just instruments for State propaganda.  And American astronauts have spent the last fifty years orbiting Earth.

After two decades of war, this generation's warriors return home to find the PATRIOT Act used against them, the government claiming ownership over their children, unaffordable gasoline, and the prospect of renting for life.  Globalism is where optimism goes to die.  Happiness will require its demolition.
